The National Youth Gathering is a time to come together, to connect with God, and to experience God’s Word with our brothers and sisters in Christ. It is also a time to be a servant of God.

In demonstration of this, during NYG twenty-six tons of books were sent to 1,500 congregations across the country. Youth leaders and their youth groups came together and packed up books published by Concordia Publishing House to send back to each of the congregations with members in attendance at the National Youth Gathering.

Churches will be able to share those books with others who are unfamiliar with the Word of God. Ben Meyer, a pastor in Ohio, shared his excitement on Twitter: “Thank you [Concordia Gospel Outreach] for sending a box to every congregation that came to #NYG2019. We will be sharing these with our sister congregation, Ebenezer Ethiopian.”

The efforts of Vacation Bible School’s mission project, Sharing God’s Miraculous Mission, provided the books that were sent to each congregation. The project was organized through Concordia Gospel Outreach.
