Lutheran worship has a unique history, theology, and practice—and it looks different than the worship in many other denominations. New from Concordia Publishing House is Lutheranism 101: Worship, which explores the Divine Service, the presence of God in worship, and our call to daily worship and prayer.
Worship expands on these topics from Lutheranism 101, presenting background information on the development of Lutheran worship, a deeper look at the parts of the worship service, and an understanding of why Lutheran worship is both consistent with the way Christians have worshiped over the centuries as well as a unique expression of Lutheran theology.
Each section is filled with short articles, sidebar features, and graphics. A Leader Guide is also available for free at cph.org. All over the world, Lutherans gather to worship. Find out what makes Lutheran worship different with Lutheranism 101: Worship. For more information, please contact Lindsey Martie, Public Relations, at 314-268-1303 or at lindsey.martie@cph.org.
