Building on the widespread appeal of chocolate, CPH’s newest release, Living a Chocolate Lifewritten by Deb Burma, invites women to savor God’s rich and endless supply of grace in Christ.

Chocolate is sweet, indulgent, and can satisfy a craving. According to the National Confectioners’ Association, 40 million boxes of chocolate will be purchased in the weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day. But when it comes to true satisfaction and nourishment, chocolate alone isn’t enough. God’s Word satisfies in a way that chocolate never can.

This new women’s Bible study expands on CPH’s best-selling devotional A Chocolate Life, which has sold over 100,000 copies since its release in 2012. Living a Chocolate Life has proven appealing, as thousands of women across the country have participated in Bible studies and retreats with Burma.

“Deb Burma’s new Bible study, Living a Chocolate Life, is a delight—to the eye, to the ear, to the heart and soul,” says Donna Streufert, LifeLight author and Bible study leader. “Perfect for small group or individual use, the author’s light-hearted (often humorous) and winsome approach readily engages readers from the start.”

Written with a fun chocolate theme, each session focuses on one aspect of life as a Christian woman, encouraging readers toward introspection and personal reflection. Designed to be 45–60 minutes long, each session includes at least one recipe for a chocolate dessert item, a Bible verse to memorize, chocolate trivia, and suggestions for group activities.

Living a Chocolate Life is available for purchase at cph.org. For more information on Living a Chocolate Life, or to schedule an interview with the author, please contact Lindsey Martie, Public Relations, by phone at 314-268-1303, or by email: Lindsey.Martie@cph.org.
