ST. LOUIS—Reading the Bible is transformed into a personal journey with Everyday Word: A Two-Year Bible Journal, a new Bible journal from author Todd A. Biermann. The journal is a personal record of Christ’s wisdom and grace for real life in relationship to others, allowing readers to add their own notes and reflections as they read God’s Word. The journal will be treasured for a lifetime and passed to the next generations as a priceless inheritance. Everyday Word is available on the Concordia Publishing House website now.

“Your faith will surely grow as you daily read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the precious Word of God,” Biermann writes. “Your growth will be enhanced as you turn to a fellow disciple or pastor to help answer your questions as they arise from your reading.”

The weekly guides, with fillable boxes, correspond to the two-year reading plan in The Lutheran Study Bible and provide guidance to help readers understand the readings and apply them to life in a Christian congregation or family. These guides also provide a place to record discoveries for when readers return to read the Bible again and when the journal is passed on to family members. Once readers complete the two-year journal, they can return to the beginning and read the Bible again, looking for new discoveries the Lord will give them.
