Christian fiction readers will have the opportunity to go to summer camp, discover the Message worth dying for, and see the gritty reality of small-town life in three new fiction books set to release from Concordia Publishing House.
Described as “an amusing, romantic, and uplifting YA tale” by Kirkus Reviews, Last Summer at Eden is written by Christina Hergenrader. In the novel, Camp Eden is on the verge of being closed forever. Firmly believing that kids need camp, nineteen-year-old Poppi sets out to save Eden. “I hope Last Summer at Eden is a bouncy, fun camp song in the middle of the humdrum of bad-news headlines,” says Hergenrader. “May it be the bright campfire spark in the darkness of rude social media comments.
