Concordia Publishing House CEO Dr. Bruce G. Kintz to Receive Baldrige Foundation Leadership Award

Saint Louis, Missouri—Dr. Bruce G. Kintz, President and CEO of Concordia Publishing House, will be awarded the Baldrige Foundation Award for Leadership Excellence in the Nonprofit sector from the Baldrige Foundation on April 9, 2019.

“The Baldrige framework is a powerful tool for business leadership,” said Kintz. “At Concordia Publishing House, our Baldrige journey was laser-focused on the improvement of our systems and processes to better serve our customers. Without it, we would not have experienced the results we have seen in the last decade and expect to see long into the future, and the lasting benefit has been long-term sustainability.”

In announcing the award, Al Faber, President and CEO of the Foundation for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, Inc., said, “There are so many people doing such important work promoting the Baldrige Framework. Through their efforts to grow the Baldrige community, they help thousands of organizations across the country to improve their performance. . . . These great leaders are helping to ensure the sustainability of Baldrige into the future.”
